    COVID-19 My Observations and Chats with Lucy

    Here is San Diego COVID-19 Stats from 6/23/2020 and 7/28/2020. Some observations: The median age of death in both cases is 78 yrs.  Life expectancy in the US according to the CDC is 78 yrs.  https://www.cdc.gov/nchs/fastats/life-expectancy.htm The mortality rate dropped. When I ran with Lucy right after the 4th of July, she said anecdotally, she’s been seeing a lot more patients in their 20s and 30s.  She expected the median age of death for COVID to start dropping with 2-3 weeks.  This is because of the protests and 4th of July celebrations and it takes about 2-3 weeks from the time the symptoms show up, until complications and eventually death.  However,…

    Running and Chatting about Main Stream Media, Trump and COVID

    Here’s the problem, a lot of people don’t realize they are watching biased media. I went for a run and was talking to a very good friend of mine yesterday. She is smart, went to Stanford and is an infectious disease doctor. All her patients are COVID patients. Yesterday, she asked what I thought about Kamala. For the first time in 5 years, I told her I am conservative and a Trump supporter. I told her how the MSM skews his words, takes things out of context, etc. She said, I don’t watch main stream media.
