Why I still give my cell phone number instead of doing everything from my CRM http://myscatteredbrain.com/2020/08/13/why-i-still-give-my-cell-phone-number-instead-of-doing-everything-from-my-crm/ Thu, 13 Aug 2020 20:22:00 +0000 http://myscatteredbrain.com/?p=46  Right now, I switch them over but I am debating the same thing. I like seeing when my message is Delivered or Read if the recipient has an iPhone. Also, other things aren’t easy from the FUB mobile app such as sending videos, BombBomb integration, sending locations from Apple and Google maps, etc. I just talked myself into continuing to use my cell phone number. These are the same reasons I got away from Google Voice for a separate business cell phone number. I can’t send contact cards or group text either. A Reflection of My Burnout The Last Few Months http://myscatteredbrain.com/2020/08/10/a-reflection-of-my-burnout-the-last-few-months/ Mon, 10 Aug 2020 19:33:55 +0000 http://myscatteredbrain.com/?p=235 This was an email I wrote to my coach.  I had been burnt out and unmotivated.  Here was my findings and I wanted to save it here for future reference. The Email Analysis I did 177 points today.  You would think I would be thrilled for being so productive but the problem is, I can’t delineate and stop.  Then I didn’t start my run till 8 pm and I’m out running in the dark again.  Then I get angry with myself.  And I get burnt out. But that’s why I have to get out of the house.  It gives me a starting and stopping point.  At least I can see the burnout coming by tracking points. So I did a point analysis.  425-450 points is a good balance.  It pushes me without getting burned out. Before Vacation: Week of 5/25 – 485 points Week of 6/1 – 445 points Week of 6/8 – 331 points (graduation week) Week of 6/15 – 167 points 6/17 I made a note that it’s been hard to focus and I was unmotivated 6/18 I told Jake on my accountability call and you on our coaching call that I needed to start heading into Regus because I was falling into a rut. Week of 6/22 – 400 points (worked at Regus 2x this week) Here you can see the first 3 weeks was high intensity so it makes sense that the week of 6/15 fell apart.  Then I was recovered by the week of 6/22. Vacation Weeks: Week of 6/29 – 129 points Week of 7/6 – 307 points (this is high for a vacation week) After Vacation Week of 7/13 – CE Week stress + 295 points Week of 7/20 – More CE stress + 278 points Week of 7/27 – 267 points (recovery week) Week of 8/3 – 435 points (good balance last week.  Went to Regus 2x) Today 8/10 – 177 points If you assigned points to CE, I’d weigh it as 10 points per credit hour and I had to do 40 CE hours so that’s 400 points those first 2 weeks back.  When you look at it that way, you can see why I got burnt out and the week of 7/27 fell off. Summary So overall, I feel better now that I understand what is happening and how I got to where I am.  Now I just have to make sure I don’t burn myself out this week.  I have to get into the office so I can be more balanced in my work and personal schedule.  177 points for today is too much.
